high vs low bar squat?
how do I do a high bar squat without it hurting my neck bones? am I putting it in the wrong place?

the spine bone on the bottom of my neck
you know what I mean

You hold it on your traps, not on your fucking neck
>>42796494
you need to "make a shelf" with your traps.
then, relax your shoulders and hands, but keep traps snug --- not freaking walnut cracking.
breathe in and hold.
and always think: 1st hips, then knees.
>my squat has sucked all month...long story.

If you choose to do lowbar and Deadlifts. You have to do front squats

Both lowbar squat and deadlift focus primarily on the posterior chain. While you do use some quadriceps in the lowbar squat, your limiting factor is probably going to be the hamstrings and the lowerback.
High bar squat focuses more on keeping an upright position, being sorta of a happy balance between front squat, a particularly quad heavy movement, and a low bar back squat, a particularly hamstring based movement
