Put the rice in a sieve and rinse in cold water

Put rice in saucepan and poor cold water in to a ratio of 1:2 cups rice to water
Let sit for 5 minutes
Turn on range to high until it starts boiling, turn to medium-low and let cook covered for 30 minutes (stir every 5-10 minutes so rice on bottom doesn't burn)
Turn off range and let it cool down
Eat

Switch to brown rice, it's fewer calories and has fiber.
