Hey /fit/ because of you I was able to get diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome hypermobility type. Life has gotten better, and shittier after being diagnosed, but because of you bros I've been able to move forward.
For those of you that don't know what it is
>extra flexible and stretchy skin
>joints like to bend backwards
>poor muscle tone
I've been lifitng for about a year now, 4 times a week with about 15-30 mins of cardio.
I normally work one or two muscle groups at a time and do 3 sets of 10 reps. I have seen a little improvement but going up in weights always causes me to have my joints sublax or over extend, causing pain and messing up my form.
Do you have any advice on a way of lifting that would help my joints stay in place, and allow me to actually get some gains? Thanks bros.

yeah dont do cardio so much.
stick to your basic lifts, and eat a calorie surplus.
consistency is key

okay, maybe less compund and just isolate more. dont do squats, but do machine leg presses or donkey kicks. theres literally 1000s of variants of every type of exercise for every muscle group. try bodybuilding dot com. see what works well and what doesnt. we arent in the gym with you and cant tell what works and what doesnt. if all else fails get a high end personal trainer than can suit to your needs.
