I feel bad for starting a thread for a single question, but this issue has been plaguing me for 2-3 years. I have tight shoulders and if I rotate them they tend to "crack" or pop pretty much every single time. There isn't any pain, though. I've tried stretching, foamrolling/ball work, and also obviously have paid really close attention to my lifting form.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? How did you deal with it? I stretch at least once a day, and 2-3 times (before and after) if I am doing arms/shoulders/chest at the gym.

My jaw cracks when I open it too wide

Don't do it too often or otherwise it'll happen more/get louder. Also, quit being a pussy.

My knees are cracking whenever I'm squatting. Sometimes even when I'm standing up from a chair or getting out of the bed.
As long as it doesn't hurt it shouldn't bother you.

Same issue, it doesn't hurt though so I ignore it

>jaw cracks

I had the same thing. I jawned and suddenly my jaw cracks open. I'm happy it hasn't happened now for some time.

I've had this for over a year now. Woke up one morning with bad lockjaw and now my jaw cracks everytime I open my mouth wide enough.
Really annoying and sometimes can be painful.
Do you know what causes it/how to cope with it better?

My shoulders used to pop, crack, grind, click, snap and make all kinds of noises. Strengthening rotator cuff muscles eliminated 90% of the problem.

Most people have really weak rotators and unless you target them specifically, lifting only makes the imbalance worse. Your humerus head then sits off-center in the socket causing all this cracking and accelerated wear and tear of the joint.

Do you grind your teeth while sleeping?

strengthen the rotator cuffs, the rear delts, lower trapezius, rhomboids. you likely have a) weak rc's and b) tight/overdeveloped front delts and chest relative to the muscles on the other side

Yep. Is that what causes it for everyone who has it? I was under a lot of stress on the night when it first began so that could be linked.
