Got ottermode and found a gf shortly after that. I too had motivation problems for a bit but then I noticed that i am gaining fat and losing muscle which motivated me to go back to the gym.

That opened my eyes, and when I am losing motivation I look to the mirror and browse my old progress pics.

Still got a long way ahead of me, and I regret that I allowed myself to get this shape where I am now

I didn't lift for girls in general, I lifted for a specific girl. She ended up breaking my heart and I started using the gym as an outlet for anger and depression.

I lift to be better than people.

It hasn't capped my motivation, it's as strong as ever. But it's capped my fucking time and supps money that's for sure. But it's ok, her visa runs out in November, then I'll have all my precious gains time back.
