Should I rest or lift? Will it help? I don't feel it will but not sure. Might be counterproductive to push it in this state.

I get that as well, if you're gonna lift, don't do exercises that are very taxing on your CNS (squat and deadlift etc) and go a bit lighter, alternatively do some cardio.

As long as the gym isn't slampacked, I always feel lifting helps get rid of the cloudiness and anxiety that I'm feeling.
