Any ex-runners here? I've been running five days a week for six years or so and it's a blast but most people do not find the runner's body attractive so I've decided to start lifting and see where that takes me. I've read through the wiki and I'm gonna start with

Anyway, does anyone here like running? Should I continue to run on the days I don't lift? Any other starting advice?
are you baiting or just retarded

Intermediate to advanced trainees cannot improve more than two traits at a time (ie strength, size, conditioning, endurance). If you are cycling which traits you're emphasizing throughout different teainibg periods then it's fine. But if you're engaging in any significant overlap then you're gonna get suboptimal gains; in this case it would be best to keep other traits at maintenance instead of trying to make gains.

*training
But ya if you're a beginner then you can train speed, strength, size, and endurance every session and still make optimal gains in all areas, but that drops off very quickly, even before the "newbie" gains. Most people only have time to train three traits anyways so you could always do barebones SS with some accessories for size and go for a run later in the day.
>should i run
No, lifting should be all you do, unless you are ridiculously fat.
Don't be a dumb cunt and actually read the fucking book, there's pdfs all over the internet if you're a cheap bastard.

I do hiit workouts 3 times a week and still make gains while staying lean
