Any former fatties here?

I slimmed down to 14% body fat when I was 32% at my highest 15 months ago. Unfortunately I have BAD dark circles underneath my eyes that get worse towards the end of the day as a result of the weight loss. It looks like I lost 74 lbs but added 5 years to my face. Any thing I can do that doesn't involve surgery?

Ate pizza and chicken poppers this weekend (friday and saturday) Very upset with myself but I had my brother over and wanted to actually enjoy some bad food with him.

Glad I feel so awful though, means Im defo taking to my new eating style, chicken and steamed veg tomorrow anyway.

On a different note does anyone know if apple cider vinegar is good for you? I heard drinking it before meals helps clear clogs and the like in your body. Also Im taking a fish oil and multivit but is vit C also good to take?

>>42728262
If leaness is a major desire, I'd suggest forgoing strength for the time being and focusing all your effort into cutting. Cut to your goal weight, then cut a little more. From this point is when I think you should focus on strength while doing so at a very gradual pace to help maintain a lean physique.

My best tips for weight loss is to never eat after 7pm if you wake up at 7am, or to never eat after 5pm if you wake up at 5am. That way you always spend half of your day (12 hours) fasting. Midnight snacking sets back weight loss. My other tip is to go without creamers, sauces, dressings... etc. I have lost a lot of weight this way. I used to be unable to do this, but now I drink my coffee black, my tea plain, my cocoa is hot water and 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (10 calories), I eat a small amount of pasta with no sauce, my salad has no dressing (dressing is very high cal, even "light" ones), I put no mayonnaise on my tuna, and NO butter on bagels.... Makes things blander but when you look in the mirror at a thinner body you feel amazing. Be sure to take vitamins always, you may miss out on a lot of nutrients. Also ALWAYS drink 8 glasses of water daily. This speeds up weight loss. If you are sick of drinking water, but met your daily allowance of calories, eat one cracker. You will feel thirsty and typically you will drink 2 glasses of water after eating one Ritz cracker. Crackers are only 16 calories. Also try to quit soda. Its bad. Even diet sodas are bad.

I had a hungover-binge yesterday. Had a frozen pizza with added cheese. Had soda with sugar. Had an energy drink. A candy bar.
I ended up ordering a kebab at around 10 PM, ate half of it - I was stuffed from earlier binge.

Today, looky here. Half-eaten kebab. That's a nice breakfast! And some sugary soda in addition.

It didn't taste good. My fat sister had left out opened candy too - now in the living room there are three opened bags of chips. Two types of chocolate bars, almost empty chocolate milk, empty soda bottles, different bags of candies - all opened. The kitchen is messy and it's like I'm the only one cleaning, and trying to live a healthier lifestyle (quite ironic based on what I formerly said), but I'm surrounded by literal trash.
Anyhow, the kebab didn't taste good, it was cold and fatty. The soda was just sweet and disgusting. So during my small cleaning-session, I poured out rest of the soda and on the path of righteousness.
I just consider the day ruined when it comes to being healthy.

I repeated in my head something I read in a /fat/ yesterday about rewarding yourself with food / cheat day. That only dogs and slaves are rewarded with food.
It was a nice sentence, and in my life, I decide to be neither.

>Learn some. Healthy recipes so I'm not bored
>Should be done in 3 months
Only one cheat meal a week, that too fit into my macros
I'm enjoying this now desu. Very easy

Trying to fit junk into macros is the wrong mindset. Wanna be healthy and fit? Gotta eat healthy that's it.

Started at 100kg and went down to 80 with that mindset without counting calories- just cut out all junk and did a lot of cardio and lifting. Then discovered macros and calories and been fucking around but now I'm back on track.

7.5 kgs then lean bulk

We're all gonna make it

been running consistently at the moment, want to incorporate lifting into my week. SS or PPL?
>>
>>42729496
Thanks Anon. Was on a PPL routine a few months ago and I really liked it but i got tired of going to the gym 6 times a week. Now i'm doing a full body program 3 times a week with bench/squat/deadlift variations/chin ups/rows as the main lifts and some accessories for the other muscle groups(skullcrushers, lateral raises, face pulls, calf raises, rotator cuff work and some abs work). I'm also doing the Couch to 5k program on rest days.

As for nutrition, I try to eat 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight and when i'm "bulking" I'm only at a 300 calories surplus.Been fat for my whole life and i don't feel good when I'm eating too much

It has taken me 4 years now to get on track

I lost 60 lbs in my first year then went to school. I'm so mentally week i let all the stress get to me. so for two years i starved with no results and then started working out again. I have only lost 4 lbs this last month.

I've yelled and blamed it on my family, I've pushed away friends because of my inability. I wonder what i will even do after i get to 10%. The only thing that matters is that i finish.
>>
>>42727768

Had a bad day yesterday, it was the other halfs birthday- bagel for breakfast before a 5 mile run, pizza for lunch and then grilled cheese for tea. Add this to half a pumpkin spice latte plus half a slice of cake.

It was only around 2k calories (normally eat 1.3), but I feel quite violently ill after all those carbs. I've not eaten bread in a good two months, and certainly not three carb-heavy meals. (I do eat carbs mind, just normally very little!)

Eating lighter today though with no carbs, and about to head out for another run despite the fact my stomach is jumping somersaults.
>>
>>42729871
Why do you write like a girl?
>>
Many people today do not have discipline.

We live in this false concept that motivation is what is needed to achieve our goals, but I tell you, motivation is only the spark needed.

Motivation is a fire based on paper, it lights quickly, and burns out quickly. But -- if you couple that with discipline, which is a fire that burns on wood, then you set the wood alight.

You live in the 1800s, you've ventured West to settle in unclaimed land. You are motivated to build a house for your family to reside in, but that motivation can reside, it is the discipline that gets the house built.

Discipline yourself, and build that house.

Been going back and forth, lost 33 lbs in the last eight months. Just that when I'm not careful, my weight's going haywire, and the body's following.

Mainly when I'm consumed by work.

I've only begun lifting again one month ago, after two years of break.

I am losing my way father, I started as a fatass and through the last years have lost ~60-70lbs and gained a lot of muscle. I am pretty easily in the 1/2/3/4 club and I generally look /fit/ but I am crumbling father.

All this time I had this burning hate for the world, this burning obsession, this hate for what I was. I would lie in bed hungry and sore from working out and I could only smile. I thought about all the other lazy people in bed feeling comfortable and knowing that I special because I had this insane diiscipline. I was proud of torturing myself to achieve greatness and through the years it wasnt torture, I liked it.

People have respect for me now, I am doing well. I look good I am pretty strong and... I just want to not do anything now. I wanna stay in bed with my gf and forget about the world. I dont want to go to the gym, I dont want to restrict what I eat, I dont want to achieve more in life... I just want to rest I am tired father.

The only thing keeping me going is that fat guy deep inside of me that still wants more and more. But his screams for greatness are more silent than ever. And I hate myself for feeling this way but I just want off this wild ride and be happy...

I find it takes time for your body to get used to cardio when you just get started.

I don't think I'm in a state of thinking when I do that. As with fapping, I am not being rational when I get my dopamine fix.
It's only after I've done it I get this wave of regret and shame, saying to myself no more. Yet it keeps happening.
It's the abstinence part that gets me. It's easy not to feast when I'm stuffed, but once time has passed sufficiently I'm back to the primal state of hunger.

It's every week on repeat. I do fairly well Monday - Friday. Allow myself a bigger meal or more unhealthy and later bed time. I'm also relatively good not to eat or have snacks available during the work-week, but then weekend arrives. Bonus points for alcohol which seems to triple the feast. Then Sunday arrives and I regret and can only look back at a weeekend with shitty food, lots of calories and a mood worse then Friday getting home from work. Weekends are the worst..

As a sidestory, I live with my sister who's fatter then me, all she does is sit on the coach watching a small amount of TV-shows and eat candy, chips, or some other unhealthy substance. Every day of the week, I get home to a lot of trash and a lot of opened trashy food. It's not healthy, I'm weak. It works sort of a justification for me, that she gorges even more in worse food, somehow makes my weakness more OK to me. God damnit.

I have a state of somewhat mental clearness as of right now, hopeful.. It will stick!
>>
>>42732848

If it makes you feel any better, my TDEE is depressingly low due to my height and my 'ideal' weight range is between 50-55kg.

Aka being short sucks.

>>42732947

Try to find an exercise you actually enjoy. So, for me who doesn't really enjoy most cardio, I run outside and swim. Running on a treadmill is the most boring thing in the world, but being outside is good. You're going to have to keep the fitness thing up for the rest of your life, so you might as well find something you enjoy.

>>42733137

6*2 134kg goal 90kg plan is to lose weight till 100 and hit weights need to cardio (new found high blood pressure 177/110 or some shit, I should be hospitalized at this rate)

>Try to find an exercise you actually enjoy.
I did have fun playing Squash with some acquaintances, but it stopped for whatever reason.
As for other exercise, I get into the habit of going to the gym, but I'm so unfit that even basic exercises are hard. Proper forms for bench, squats, deadlift and so on is hard. It was usually rowing for warming up (1500 meters in about 6 minutes with breaks - breaks weren't counted), then whatever may look like squats but it was uncomfortable body-wise, and mentally since I was self conscious.

It seems like everyone else decides to hit the squat-place as soon as I do, since it fills up right when I go but is empty before. I have decided to try and work out before work (so getting to the gym around 6 AM), but that will be a big hurdle.. with waking up, eating a little and actually doing the activity of going out for the sake of becoming exhausted.

It's just another chore.
This is coming from a(nother) post-bingeweekend on Sunday evening, so it's in its entirety written negatively.

It's just much easier to lose control when drinking which is part of the reason I do it. I can blame it on the alcohol instead of myself but in the end responsibility lies with me for putting myself in that situation.

Guys, two odd questions.

Have any of you cum on the exercise bike due to friction in your shorts on your penor. It's not happened yet, but it was a close thing earlier I think. I got off the bike, scratched, and the feels almost made me fall to my knees.

And, when you start developing abs, do you find your orgasms are stronger? The last few weeks I've been doing a lot of sit ups, and on a night my entire stomache clenches up and it feels awesome compared to fat orgasms.

My diet went from junk food 4 meals a day and gallons of soda to lacto ovo vegetarian, so I'm pretty good on that side for cutting.
>Should I focus on cardio now that I've lost this much weight?
I've been doing PPL since the beginning of weight loss and I think I maxed out noob gains, so maybe cardio would help with the fat loss more than just cico.
>Is my diet bad for muscle gain?
I'm not sure if I'm getting the right nutrients for muscle growth, but I've been tracking macros and my proton intake is between 65 and 80g a day which is close to recommended from what I read in the sticky.

Sorry for the long post.

I understnad the external blame completely.
I had a higher consumption-rate before, and it was the same every time.
When I open that first beer and take a mouthful I mentally entered the state where all my obligations went temporary away. I can't work out when drinking, I can't study when drinking, I can't be expected to drive someone, and generally my mental state went into a more relaxing and happier.
However, also less happier. More destructive, angrier, more desperate for compassion from another person. >tfwnogf going into overdrive and I get chattier and seek to online spaces to get validation and attention. It's a horrible cycle, yet I keep repeating it. It's shameful and gives me more pain then enjoyment.
But as you said, it's the alcohol. Wonder how long I can keep lying to myself.

There was a period where I barely drank though, and my weekend-binges went down just the same. Heck, I even worked out on some of the Saturdays because I didn't have a hangover, and didn't have shit for breakfast.

I can convince myself now, as I've done many times before that from now on, I will live a healthy lifestyle and all that.
But the anxiety is too much. My desperation for external validation is taking up so much mental time that I have always ended up quick-fixing it and claiming I "learned" by it.

The shitshow of raising a boy through "equality" which means raising him with a bunch of female traits. Not blaming my parents, but it explains some of the issues I struggle with today.
It's also easier to say "the previous years were due to this and that" then claiming - allthough experience shows otherwise that from now on, I will be a better person.

I get what you mean completely that exercise is hard to begin with- however, it does get easier.
Try to take it a bit easier to go with- and then extend your time/effort etc on a week by week basis. I'm not going to lie- it won't be easy to do anything to begin with, but even if you can just get to the gym and walk on the treadmill for ten minutes a few times a week for now then you're at least creating a good habit you can build on. (You can also find out when it's less busy).

Also perhaps try and find someone to squash with again?

Keep going anon!

I think I finally got over binge eating out of frustration/sadness

Last year, when only my parents remembered my birthday, I remember ordering huge takeout meals for both lunch and dinner and spending pretty much the entire day stuff myself

Today, not even my parents called me and I don't feel the need to eat. Had regular brekky and lunch (I only switched chicken to pork for some variety) and I'll probably go jogging in the afternoon

It's just disheartening when even the basic movements are challenging. I'm not agile enough for squats - yet. So even the bar is close to making me fail horribly. It is however, inspiriing to see other peoples form, it tends to not be very good.

As for squash, it's just sending out a message and show interest. It's the going outside-part that is challenging.

On one hand, it's good that it's becoming colder, since I can use hiding clothes. On the other hand, I have to put on lots of clothing to get to the gym and have to sweat in them on the way home since showering at the gym is asking for diseases.

So now I'm sipping / gulping water just to distract myself. 3.5 liters so far.

I am the fattest guy in my office (ok, my female boss is thicc but she is a 30-something year old woman that was just pregnant and she is from part of my country where people like to eat big).

Just two more months of bulking and then we can start cutting for the summer of 2018. Currently taking 2700KCal and I am 83 kgs + only 170cm short.

1. Be tall - FAIL
2. Good looking face - FAIL
3. Don't be fat - FAIL
4. Have visible abs - FAIL
5. Broad shoulders - WIN
6. Strong arms - WIN
7. Grooming - WIN?

Only fatties and fags like my body. And I think I saw one gay in my life once in a tram staring at my balls ... or my tie.

I just know from experience that fixating on a girl is a bad idea. Relationships are best started fresh and not with a girl you've been pining over for years. If you actually do get into a relationship with them it will be disappointing to find out that they're human instead of what you've built up in your head. I'm not saying meet some cunt off of tinder. That's more likely to crash and burn over and over again with maybe some sex to show for it. Find girls based on similar interests.

The worst thing about my weight gain was getting stretch marks.
I already got stretch marks on the sides above my hips when I hit like 90kg and now I also have them on my stomach.
Was 125kg at my heaviest and 185cm.
I mean it's not like some evil unknown force is at work here, it's all of my own doing, but you see significantly bigger people without them. I hope they just magically disappear at some point. At least I'll look good with a shirt on when I get down to an acceptable weight.
>>
>>42734449
how quickly did you put the weight on?

It's a very hard question to answer without any details. It can depend on how much and what you eat and drink, how much you sleep, how much sunlight you get, mental health etc.

Peanut Butter is great, but stick to natural (not necessarily organic, but not processed) if you can. Processed PB adds unnecessary sugar.

haven't gone to the gym in 5 days, but I have been doing workouts at home.

pullup variations sets of 10
pushups with dumbells sets of 25
bicep curls pretty light since I only have 30 lb dumbells at home, go for sets of 15, slow and controlled.
shoulderpress sets of 20 with afformentioned 30 lb dumbells, try and do the whole mind muscle connection thing.

I just do the above, rest for like 45 sec to a minute then repeat till I can't move. Only problem is literally no leg work, but I don't really care about legs anyway.

But depression and anxiety is a problem, when you really look at it, of a false perspective. I had clinical depression. But then I came across some articles and podcasts which basically said: You are living in a first world, have internet, shelter, clothes, food and are not terminally. You really really don't have a reason to be depressed.

Hearing stuff like that makes some people even more depressed. Some people have anxiety to the point where it legitimately cripples anything they want to do and they have anxiety attacks. Not every situation is going to be exactly the same, and what works for you wont work for everyone.

At the very least going to see a shrink is *trying* to do something about it, even if in the end they may not need to go that far I'd consider it a huge positive that they're trying to make those steps, and they shouldn't be discouraged.
