>craigslist in my area sucks dick for gym equipment
>best deal I found was 900 pounds of mixed 45s for $600 but I don't have a truck and I'm too DYEL to only have 45s and nothing else
>only other options are buying grip plates and a barbell from Dicks or ordering regular iron plates and a barbell online which are higher quality for the same price but will cost an extra $150 for shipping
What should I do? My first thought would be to keep checking craigslist but that could keep me from lifting for another month while I check for a deal.
have you considered a commercial gym?????

Click "search nearby areas" and wait it out. Although i dont know how youre going to get a bench, rack and weights without a truck or at least a large car.

I've tried that in the past a few times but it never goes well and I never make any real progress for many reasons.

I'm ordering the bench, the bar and the rack online since I don't want to cheap out on them and because they're light enough I won't get raped by shipping costs like if I ordered 250+ pounds of plates.
I got 300 lbs of assorted plates and a bar from amazon for $399, no shipping, delivered on a pallette to my front door.

Plates on amazon arent that expensive

>best deal I found was 900 pounds
900 pounds should be more than enough.
I got 300 lbs of assorted weights and a bar from Dicks for $300. Bar still hasn't crapped out on me but my DL is 250 so I'm doing okay for now.

That's a great deal, bro, I was tempted with it but got discouraged by the reviews. How's the set holding up?

Do you have sign for it? If they just leave it in my driveway on a pallet for me to break down myself it would be a lot easier since I wouldn't have to wait around
