Does anyone in here train for athleticism? Not just for aesthetics, but for physical capability. Flexibility, mobility, and strength all rolled into one. What sort of workouts/routines do you do?
I've been lifting on/off for about ten years now (more off than on) and I've got a pretty solid idea of lifting for strength and aesthetics, but as far as training to be an actual athlete goes, I'm in the dark.

Depends on your athletic goals, e.g. I train for soccer so I need to have explosive speed and enough muscle to hold off a player but not so much I sacrifice agility or endurance.

Athlete is a really broad term considering each sport has you train differently.
For flexibility (balance) calisthenics and gymnastics are your best bet

>how did i gain so much muscle just by doing bodyweight exercises
because you're the result of several generations of slave breeding
