I lost weight more or less automatically (and my father did as well) by basing my diet around the recommendation of this book. Spoiler alert: dietary fat are pretty fucking important. They keep you filled, give you energy, are digested slowly (which is one of the reason they keep you filled) and are essential for your overall health.

The book also gives you some recommendation relative to the time of your eating, your sleep pattern and micro nutrient supplementation.

Left is 380ish and was taken the day after halloween 2016. Right was taken like a month ago and I'm like 225ish in it if I recall correctly. About 215 now, doing clean IF along with weight training/cardio on alternating days every day but Sunday.

I know i'm still a fat piece of shit but i'm feeling so much better and my crippling depression has gotten a lot better. Even started seeing this girl, we don't even go out to eat for dates. We go hiking or to the beach. Most fatty thing we do is go to a movie and split a pop corn.

I was worse than you (not black, though, at least I had that going). I was 97-ish over 178cm, somewhat strong but no body shape, huge gyno and larger shirts.

That was about 1.5 years ago, I'm now ~81Kg and have visible bulging muscles and starting to show abs, have cheekbones/jawbone visible and still have some more to go.

My point is, it might take you a while, but you'll get there. Just keep lifting, eat at a slight caloric deficit and your body will take care of itself eventually. Best of luck!

I'm finding this really hard to achieve too. I can only eat poultry and fish for protein because I can't eat red meats (catastrophic diarrhea, massive bloating, digestive suicide). That's my goal.. I can't do squats right now, because of too much on my knees. I do some make-shift lifting, like bags of books and stuff like that, since I don't have access to gym (just a pool), when I get my school grants I'll go to dick's and get some dumbbell, as well as pay the uni rec fee so I can go to the gym. atm I'm just doing pool stuff, sometime my apartment stairs till my knees start feeling it.

Beeing an ex fat fuck, and as i've never been really shredded in my life my body tends to store fat easily.
Back in june 2016 when i started dieting i didn't know shit about nutrition so i had huge calorie deficit, i ended in september with like 800-1200 calories left.
It was pretty stupid but at least a iate like a somelian and there's no fat fuck in somalia. Hopefully i began to learn shit about nutrition.

From september 2016 to november 2016 i estimate my intake to drop from 2200kcal to 1800-1700kcal progressively reducing carbs (while lifting and running).
From november to half-december 2016 i went full keto - worst time of my life kek-. Had around 50/80g of carbs mostly from fruits and vegies, 70/80g of fat from nuts etc, and 150g of proteins.
End of december : 75kgs, started at 96kgs.

I then went on a bulk from January to july 2017. PRogressively increasing carbs (sadly I went too fast in the end so i made a bit of fat). At the peak of my bulk i was a 3500/3600kcal and my weight was 78Kgs.

From July 2017 to now, i did a -too fast cut- : one month decreasing carbs, one month keto which led me from 78kgs to 72kgs

I still don't advise keto to most people? I used it because i was too impatient and i needed to cut all the fat i could because of fucking crippling body dismorphia.

Seroquel and fluoxetine, to be specific. Both of these have the unfortunate side effect of weight gain. So now her moods are ok but the fact that she is fifty pounds overweight is making her feel shit again. Ok, so we started hitting the gym. We go every day...she goes twice a day. She is doing a solid hour of cardio every day, some hiit, and some weight training. Her diet is on point. Only carbs she has are some oatmeal in the morning. The rest is protein and veg.

She is not losing any fat. She is gaining muscle and weight but not losing any fat. What the fuck? Those fucking meds can't make the body defy the laws of physics, can they? I need some (actual) advice, anon.

I tried to eat 4 meals a day, the fourth being about a litre of milk, 4 eggs and some ramen. It's pretty hard at first but eventually you start getting hungry at 9-10pm like you would for any other meal.

Training wise I'd stress that you should stick to a routine and religiously add weight. I don't want to be too preachy being a lad who benches lmao1.5pl8, but go really fucking hard. Get angry and don't be afraid to fail a rep.
