I weigh the jar and consider anything gone from the jar to be eaten.
Hell yes I do. I buy a giant $15 jar of peanut butter because I eat it every day. I'm not wasting that goodness.

I wasn't saying don't eat it, I was saying be aware of how much you are eating. It isn't inherently bad for you, it just has a lot of calories so you've gotta be carefully. I have two or three tablespoons every morning, she I'm cutting pretty hard (about 1300cal a day)

I weight the jar with the pb in it and them remove the desired amount. This way you always know you didn't eat another 20g more from the spoon.
But then I don't care, if I want some, I get some, I'mnot autistic enough to care for every little bit of food. If you care so much, just do another 3 reps of deadlift.
