start to associate exercise and lifting as a fun or therapeutic time for yourself and try to do something active as many days as possible.
or develop emotional problems that require you to endure a grueling training regime you dread, to attain some goal that will make everything worthwhile

I train boxing 6 days a week and I can confirm it is not fun but the rewards are incredible beyond description
