Long term expat in Japan here. Vast majority are skinny but there are a few who lift. The good news is if you work out you will stand out from everyone. Even the foreigners who come here are usually DYEL and skinny, with the occasional fat weeb.

Norwegian here. This is because of ingrained cultural feminism going all the way back to the Viking era. Women have always had more rights in Scandinavia and their attitude shows.

It's because of the liberalism and hands off approach to life that Norwegians have become this way, and it's even worse in Sweden.

Anybody here from America that moved to another country? I'd be worried about the switch in finding work, and hell, my belongings getting overseas as well. There's nothing really tying me down. Both of my parents are dead. My job isn't that great. I have a sister and two nieces, but they're across the country and I rarely see them anyways.

I wouldn't mind a shot elsewhere. But citizenship has got to be difficult. And the job market can't be that much better.

Oh and fuck. I don't know metric outside of basic things for food. And I only speak English.

Breakfast is pastries or bread, which isn't that many calories. Lunch if cheese/bread/wine/salad. Dinner will be a proper meal but not always meat.
