hello /fit I come from /lit to ask you something.
Obviously i am not the type of guy who lifts weights and stuff, I'm more into books and brain stuff...
Anyway, my wife's son keeps on bugging me about building a home gym and I thought we could bound since I would go next to my boudoir where I like to read. What type of *silent* equipment would you recommend I equip myself with? The budget here is 500$. Thank you.

$500 is a pretty low budget. You could get a barbell and some weights and you could do arms. But any compound lift would involve more noise.
