I'm new to lifting, I've decided to start with the Starting Strength lifting programme.
I just wondered whether or not you guys think I should first cut or bulk whilst lifting? I've read that in order to make the most of my 'noob gains', I should bulk.
What should I do?

Eat at maintenance until your free gains stop. Then decide from there.

Do a cut/maintenance while doing SS, progress will be slow but you'll thank yourself in the long run.

Listen to this guy. If you decide to bulk you'll go from "big" to obese real quick. You can still get noob gains while cutting, just make sure to eat a lot of protein.
