Why doesn't anyone do SS for squats and deadlifts but also do a split?
Wouldn't you get the best of both worlds?
>SS squat/deadlift/squat
>carry on with normie bro split for upper body after the few sets of your SS
Monday - Squats SS + Chest
Tuesday - Back
Wednesday - Deadlifts SS+ Shoulders
Thursday - Arms
Friday - Squats SS

when you say "Thursday - Arms" what would that exactly entail? like, using free weights to do curls or something?
Just do a modified BBB. Add more accessories instead of just one abs or lat work.

I just lost "Arms" because a typical 5 day brosplit goes like this
Chest
Back
Legs
Shoulders
Arms

I thought its
chest/tris
back/bis
legs
abs/calves/neck
I subscribe to a methodology a lot like this, I do TM for lower body and do separate high volume upper body stuff

BBB blows, worst of the 5/3/1 accessory templates for sure
at least the old 5x10 with a joke percentage of your 1rm is, the 5x5 versions are a-ok

Heavy deads after back day might not be optimal. Just do PPL or ULUL. Also, you add accessories to SS so you are training arms 3x week
