CICO doesn't work unless your hormones are in check, which most fat people do not have them in check. Use alternate daily fasting.
1. Feed day: Only eat during an 8 hour window
2. Fast day: Eat Nothing, do not drink calories. Water, black coffee, unsweet tea.
Eating excess calories on your feed day is fine, chew slower and longer to aid digestion. This effectively cuts your overall calorie intake in half but doesn't have the side effect of lowering your basal metabolism, which produces the tired and cold feeling.
If you work out M/W/F, eat on the days you lift. Syncronize it.
