Hey guys, I need some help
>kinda chubby
>friend who is thin says to do pushups every day
>proceed to do 5-12 pushups every night (skipped a few months)

How do I become a Chad, /fit/?

Skipped a few nights *

Are you trying to just lose weight or get swole? Either way read the fucking sticky
>>42664371
Also one of my friends said that I could try jogging but I am asthmatic so that's out of the question
>>42664371
If you want to lose weight either eat less or eat less and do more cardio. If you're a big fat fuck do HIIT on grass with good running shoes. Look up proper form for running so you don't injure yourself. Heel striking is for uncultured faggots.

Cant I do both simultaneously?

What is HIIT? I am new here

But how do I work out TDEE? And is the 5-12 pushups every night finally gonna cut it for me if I eat better?
>>42664895
Be careful bro 5 push-ups is ok but anymore than that is overtraining
>>42664925
I think I read somewhere that you need to take rest days, so is more than 5 ok if I take weekends off?

No 5-22 push-ups each night is basically nothing. Find a good PPL program and stick with it. If you're really weak, do SS for a few months and then switch to a more aesthetic program. To work out TDEE, Google a TDEE calculator. Anytime you don't know a term or acronym, Google it before asking.
Good luck. Now fuck off with this bullshit that is almost certainly someone LARPing as an idiot.

This.
You must be a monster as of now. Fucking gorilla chest. Reduce your push ups (less than ten), and eat more.
>>42664939
You can just eat more, that way, you won't need a lot of rest. About 2500 calories a day to keep up with your routine.
>>42664975
I think that the muscle is behind some fat though because I dont have any visible abs
>>42664415
You're fat, so yes you can (up to a point).
Read the sticky. Then read Starting Strength (it's a book).
Start doing the weightlifting routine while on a small caloric deficit (from -500 to -100 calories per day), and do some cardio every day (not much, 15 minutes of light jogging would be more than enough).
You'll eventually stall hard on your lifts, then you'll have to eat a bit more. But for the time being, you'll lose weight and gain muscle.

High Intensity Interval Training. Google it. It's a 15 minute sprinting program. I lost a shit ton of weight cleaning my diet and doing HIIT.
