5x5 45 squat
5x5 45 bench
5x5 65 barbell
Is what the strongman app recommended I start with.
I understand the point of strongman is to start low and keep adding on weight but do I really need to start THIS low. Especially on squat. That seems so low, my max for a 5x5 is 145 squat.
I'm kinda embarrassed to go do sets that low at my uni gym.

Then don't. What's your fucking point?
>muh embarrassed
Good point kiddo, definitely don't start lifting. Maybe kill yourself while you're at it.
NEVER EVER GONNA MAKE IT
>>42662657
are those kg or lbs
>>42662657
Which app?
>>42662657
then start at a higher weight??
ok since your post is all retarded i'll assume you're a yank and those are lbs
>strongman
you mean stronglifts most likely
>stronglifts app
good job on falling for some arab salesman's scam. SL is literally bastardised SS, not too bad in itself but you shouldn't be using the app or any of that garbage.
>starting point is too low
no, that literally is the point of SL
you start with the empty bar so you learn the lifts right
(admittedly it doesn't work too well, a "heavy" lift feels nothing like a baby weight lift)
>muh 145 lbs max squat
that is absolutely laughable.
unless you're a gril (in which case pls be in H O B A R T), 45 lbs and 145 lbs squat is functionally identical.
tldr
>do SS, read the fucking book too
>if you really want to do SL, don't bastardise an already bastardised program; still read SS to learn proper form etc
>tldr was tldr
kill yourself
