How come none of you vegan faggots ever told me about lupini beans?
Does anyone eat these? I've never heard of them before, are they interchangeable with shit like black beans and chickpeas?
I am seeing very low recommended serving sizes compared to the standard fare, is there any reason I shouldn't eat them by the fist full?

Because a healthy diet is one of large variety

I wasn't implying I'd never eat anything else, smart ass.

Sounds like they are a bitch to prepare, like 10 days of boiling and draining them in water

Only if you buy them dried, which is the same for a lot of beans (protip, never eat dried beans, you will die). And like most beans, you can get them pre-soaked/cooked and ready to eat.
That said, reading more about them online it sounds like they're very bitter and obscure, and only really eaten by geriatric italians.
