So I'm doing C25K, I'm currently on week three but the thing is, I've been on week three for about two weeks so far, I've been struggling trying to finish and only recently did it become "easy" I'm not going at even big speeds, 3.5mph for the rest periods and 5mph for the running periods. I do body weight exercises on off days while I do this running every other day. Closest gym is 100 miles away so not sure what else I can do besides cut, run and body weight stuff.

I'm blessed in that the town I live in only has a Subway as far as fast food goes. But, later this week I'm giving someone a lift to the next town over and they have a McDonalds less than five minutes drive from their house.

I'm tempted to buy my old usual; three cheesburgers, a large fries, and a massive cola.

Instead I choose to be strong and just have some bacon and a sausage or two with no bread at their house. I'm enjoying seeing the weigh loss. I know the fast food would stall me up for at least a week, given I'm still working up to a proper workout regime.

Had a cheat meal day - was craving chocolate whole week, so I ate two chicken breasts in the morning, drank coffee and spent the rest of my calories to eat this huge ass bar of chocolate. Still under my TDEE, but it sucks I still get these cravings after 3 weeks.

Lost 6 kg so far, I hope to lose 6 more in September.

Ok bois i have to admit I failed.
I counted every single fucking gram of food and kept sitting under 2k calories. Started in January at 141kg @192cm and by april I was 128kg.

Then IT happened. I stopped counting calories and started to drink soda again. I went back to 130kg and now I am back at 135kg. This needs to stop.

Im starting over again, no soda, no sweets, no trash food and couch to 5k.
In 1 month Ill go back to the gym as I am starting uni. If Ill fail again be sure to find me and kill me.

It's interesting how the brain's food addiction works.

I have 3lbs of broccoli in the fridge, and I could begrudgingly eat it. I would remain unsatisfied but I'd get so tired of eating it that I would be full, but not in pain. But my brain says "I'd prefer not to." I also have 2lb of spaghetti with a sauce based from sausage. My brain says "Yeah, could you go ahead and microwave all of that? I'd love to just eat the whole thing there. I know you'll be in pain but I want it. Bad."

If you are a total beginner, for the first months you'll be putting on muscle even at caloric deficit, but once the newbie gains run out, you'll have to have a surplus.

Good call. I've started lifting a couple months back and my legs are big from cycling, very happy with how I look. Got a mini stomach fold still (only when sitting), which I think will be just slightly loose skin in about 10 lbs.
Upright, I'm pretty much just not fat anymore.

I've stopped taking conventional cheat days. I don't really have an appetite any more, so I'm able to go under 1500 calories a day with no difficulty if I need to.
Instead, my cheat days are now the one day a week where I allow myself to have all the heavy duty depression related thoughts.
I have no idea if that's healthy or not, the days I allow myself to feel sad are the only days I don't feel dead inside.
I'm down 50 pounds, losing at 3 pounds a week, and there's minimal LBM impact, so I guess whatever works, yeah?

Bless me father for I have sinned. It has been 23 days since I last logged a meal. I had a summer break and due to travel and going out I have not been on my diet.

I start my diet again today now that I am back home. My for diet the last 7 months has been about 1,600-1,800 calories. When we went out to eat I was unable to finish my plate without feeling stuffed, where before I would easily eat any size portion from a restaurant and have room for desert.

One day I was absolutely stuffed, felt like I was going to be sick. I did my calories and only ate 2,600 which is only 300 above maintenance.

I had a summer break and we went traveling. I wasn't at home to cook and we ate at places that don't have calorie counts. I didn't go out of my way to pig out, but I also didn't say no to local treats and sweets. I actually lost a pound over the month so I wasn't eating that much.

I keep telling myself once I am thin I am going to start living life, well I had a chance to live life and I went for it. I am ready to go back to my normal life and get back on my diet.

My goal is to get down to 180lb for my graduation. It will now take me a month longer to reach 180lb but I will still make it in time.

Mix it up dude and find what's best for you 500 deficit is 1lb a week and 1000 is 2lb a week.
You can even go in the middle whatever is easier for you to stick with it.
Hell for some it's easier to start at maintenance and then slowly drop it down by like 100 calories a week or so, so it weans them off bad habits.

Try two protein whey shakes (from Optimum Nutrition, I like cookies and cream, but some people swear by double chocolate) and then a single low-carb meal late in the day. I have my first shake at around 7:30/8am, my second around 12 noon, and then dinner at about 6. Usually a nice piece of meat, a creamy sauce, and plenty of veggies.

I'm also experimenting with Pepsi Max (zero... well... anything) through the day to curb the sweet tooth I was promised would fade but only got worse and made me a nightmare to converse with at it got to the point I was looking to pick fights.

Still, the shakes are amazing, they taste like full sugar ones or near as damn it. Your scoop of powder, a cup of milk, a dash of full-cream, and a handful of ice cubes for thickness. It will usually fill a blender-cup to the max one all mixed. You can gulp it down or make it last. You would basically be only getting roughly the kcal you have already eaten across 'two meals' while waiting for a dinner carefully planned to add maybe another couple of hundred. You should end your day just under or over 1000.

It's helping me keep to keto. I just hope the carbs in the milk don't kick me out of/stop me entering ketosis.
