Can you develop asthma?
I've been running 3x a week for 6 months now and I've in the past month begun noticing trouble breathing when going for hard runs.
Around half a mile in usually it becomes REALLY hard to breath and about a mile in I am gasping for air and often it feels like I'm hardly getting enough in.
This is literally at like an 8-8.5mph pace BTW
I was diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis when I was born, but it was classified as mild to moderate and 3-4 years ago now they told me it was very much mild.
The first few months of running I was absolutely gasping for breath afterwards. I would literally lay on the floor hyper ventilating.
I no longer do that after runs, granted.
Is there something wrong? I don't know what the fuck to do.
i hate when i fap too much and get brainfog
Not sure if it's possible to develop it or not, probably is, but you can have exercise induced asthma

IIRC a surprising % of proffesional endurance athletes have it
