My understanding is you do it alone for a while then either switch to something similar or add on accessories when you start stalling to help.

if you know what you're doing then add assistance work for areas of weakness.
you probably don't know what you're doing which means just add dips and pull ups.
don't get too occupied with the small stuff. just keep progressing in the big lifts.
