Especially for men, we are evolved to be somewhat physically active throughout the day with high intensity intervals. If you aren't, you are fucking with your hormone signalling. People like the xenoestrogen theory because it is an easy target to shift blame to, where as having a good lifestyle is "hard". It's picking up the penny at the bottom of the stairs and saying "This is it, oh poor me." and changing nothing rather than ascending to the $100 bill at the top and actually enjoying yourself.
