If by fast you meany you literally did not eat anything and you engaged in intense exercise then it is highly likely that what you are retaining is the water weight everyone keeps on them when they start exercising.

If you were actually eating, then you didn't count calories correctly or didn't calculate your TDEE correctly.

What pizza are you eating?

Having a look at even pizza huts pizzas (so, in particular a medium pepperoni with thick crust- 8 slices at 195 cals per slice from https://www.pizzahut.co.uk/order/pdfs/Nutritional-Information.673585085bd3d2ee418f91294ac17f0d.pdf ), then you could eat the entire pizza for 1.6k calories.

Surely you could just... Eat normally for the rest of the day - say around 400 cals for breakfast/lunch - have your pizza - and cope with 2k calories that day. Then slowly cut whatever you've gone over during the rest of the week? Or, just eat at maintenance for one day?

Mind, if you've been dieting for a while, I suspect you'll be like most of us that can't eat an entire pizza in one go anyway. I know I tried 'treating' myself to a big pizza the other week- I got a quarter through it before feeling full.

Make a buttload of salad. And I mean salad, not fat&syrup soaked vegetables.
Kale, cabbage, lettuce, onion, cucumber, some tomato and bell peppers, garlic, salt, pepper, maybe some vinegar. No ham, no cheese, no corn. At worst it will set you back by like 50 calories per bowl. Eat that, then 2 slices of pizza. Repeat throughout the day.

Have you thought about getting a higher quality fresh pizza from your local store?

Stuff like pick related is pretty good, and is only around 550-600 cals for half a pizza, so more than fits in. Hell, you can get the pizza express ones that are only 700 calories for the entire of their small pizzas.

I know it isn't quite the deep crust, but if it scratches the itch until you can do enough exercise/eat at maintenance for a take out one then that might work in situations like this rather than starve yourself for a day.

I slipped up for a while. Stopped visiting for a month and went home to visit parents. gained 6 lbs and ate terriblely. But im back now. For first time I was able to take my shirt off at the beach. I'm 200 Ibs and close to 6'1 my lifts for 3x5 are

Squat: 2 plaet
Deadlift: 2 plaet
Bench: 175 Ibs
OHP: 110 Ibs
Barbell Row: 120 Ibs

I am trying to cut down to 160-170 before the end of this year. Would I be better off doing a 3x a week full body lifting routine (Probably Greyskull LP) or should I do a 3x a week bodyweight training program? I'd be eating the same diet/doing the same cardio on off days regardless of what I choose, if that matters.

you can probably get around it by doing keto. eat foods that have a low caloric density like chicken, tuna, turkey, eggs, etc... that keep you full and satisfied while still providing protein and fats. avoiding vegetables isn't a good idea though because they provide nutrients that are important. you don't have to eat them everyday but completely avoiding them seems like a bad idea.

look into eating raw spinach or flax seed to still be able to take a shit, fibres are important as well. also berries, which can be expensive depending on where you live, but they are delicious, healthy and you can eat a good amount to their low caloric density.

Don't blame low carb, you are just being lazy and need to improve your cooking skills. Keto is really hard to stick to because a lot of people lack the cooking skills and knowledge to prepare a variety of stuff.

Here's what I eat instead of buckets of cream you animal.

Chop up 6 slices of bacon, fry them and then saute 2 lbs brussel sprouts(quartered) in the fat. Once they are tender and browned, make a sauce with 1/4 cup of mayo, 1-2oz of hot sauce, a bit of lemon juice and mix it all together to coat the brussel sprouts

taste pretty amazing, makes about 7 servings at 159 cals each about 7 net carbs a serving. carbs are a bit high but the gi and gl of brussel sprouts are really low so it shouldn't be a problem pic related

It's pretty easy to fit three meals into 1.4k- it's all about the portion sizes and packing your meals full of veg/lean meat/fruit etc.

IF made me feel better and I dropped 6 kg. Now I want to get back to the gym after dropping out 2-3 years ago because of a knee injury from squatting.

From what I heard, I shouldn't be squatting while I weight 145 kg, same with running. I have a gym membership thanks to my job, but the thing is - I have no idea how to train. Does anyone here have a good A B three times per week plan? Before I tried SS, but squats killed my knee, so should I still go with SS but just do squats on a machine? What about stuff like Deadlifts etc.?
