When I do cardio I tend to stay at around 85% my max heart rate for about 30min, without feeling like I'm exerting myself really hard. But 85% is meant to be really high and hard to maintain for very long.
Does this mean I'm unfit or fit?

i guess that formula is off for me, my MHR is probs higher than that judging from how 85% feels?

That's normal for unfit people (myself included, can keep at 185 bpm for half an hour, ~206 max).
Btw while on keto I can run at 95% for an hour. Feel it only in the last ten minutes or so but after running I'm completely dead for 24h.
To find your max bpm just warmup with a jog and then do a lap at your maximum speed.
