Are you guys stupid? You lift on a cut to maintain muscle. And if you're a noob lifter you can actually gain muscle if you're hitting your macro goals

Cut
>Lift heavy
>Do lots of cardio
>Reduse calories
Bulk
>Lift heavier
>do less cardio but still do cardio
>calorie surplus

You can cut doing whatever exercises you want if your goal is simply to lose weight.
Cutting involves your diet. If you're not stupid, your cut will include resistance training along with high protein, otherwise you turn into a hungry skeleton

This is all you need to know. Anyone who tells you that you cant make gains on a cut, especially if you are begginer/novice/intermediate is talking out of their ass.
You wouldn't be asking questions like this if you were above intermediate, so yes you should be lifting heavy and making progress even on a cut.
