>Fall for the "squats, deadlifts and OHP are enough for abs"
>Only top abs are visible
>Meanwhile my brother does compounds and ab isolations
>Despite being far fatter he has visible abs
Really makes me think boys
it's almost like training and targeting a muscle for hypertrophy will make it grow
>>42579907
Makes me think you should put down the fucking fork.
>>42579927
My bodyfat percentage is far lower than his.
>>42579907
Your lifts are probably weak, and you use a belt. Fuck you weak boy.
I deadlift 200kg and squat 160kg at 74kg. I've only just started using a belt.
>>42579907
People are retards.
They fall for the "abs are all diet" meme. You can fucking see their abs are much bigger than untrained abs, and anyone who has done compound lifts for more than a few months realises they're not enough.
I've heard many suggestions but some of the most common suggested exercises appear to be planks and cable crunches.
>>42579949
t.fat "powerlifter"
>if you want a big muscle you have to train it
Why are abs any different?
If you want big biceps you do curls, you don't just do chinups and rows and hope they grow.
>>42579936
but doesn't necessarily mean it's low enough to show visible ab muscles, especially if you don't fucking train them or have any noticeable size on your abs.
Stop eating, start exercising fuck me man same thread every day.

>if you don't fucking train them or have any noticeable size on your abs.
I do squats and deadlifts though and according to /fit/ that's enough for abs
>>42579956
Proof?
>>42581347
Do you really need proof for such mediocre lifts?
I did the squat in knee sleeves as well so it probably does t count by /fit/ standards
>>42579963
i fell for this meme before
since bench/OHP train triceps and back exercises train biceps I didn't really care to do isolation exercises for them
eventually i realized my errors and now i have juicy arms
>>42580539
>Hivemind
Fucking idiot it's a meme website anyway
>>42579926
unbelievable
>>42580539
since when /fit/ says this? most of the time abs come into discussion, 90% recommends doing specific abs exercises for hypertrophy. Only a minority claims that squats and deadlifts are enough.
>>42581692
Unless you're like 5'4 those aren't terrible lifts. So... how tall are you?
>>42582868
5'10
I have good leverages for deadlift though.
>>42582797
No one gives me a straight answer. What are the two best isos I should add for abs?
>>42580539
thats what you get for listening to /fit/ without at least doing your own research to see if its accurate
>>42582913
ab wheel

>>42579907
abs are really all about low bf%, but if you want just add some ab isolations.
>>42582961
So add those modified planks right before my cooldown?
How should I train for leg raises?
>>42580539
>squats and deadlifts
>for abs
you've been memed, son
pic related is you
>>42583167
>How should I train for leg raises?
by raising your legs, retard.
>>42579907
jokes on you for following the advice of so called "redpilled" lifters
