any other bro here with t-rex arms(as in really short arms)?
>tfw can bench press 90kg for reps no problem)
>deadlifting with any weight is a fucking nightmare, conventional is more of a stiff-legged deadlift

>conventional is more of a stiff-legged deadlift
That doesn't sound like a problem coming from short arms, it sounds like your forms fucked

nah the form's fine. My hips must be very high in order to pull correctly or else my ass rises first. "stiff legged deadlift" may not have been the correct choice because i'm still using my legs, but the knee and hip angle are very disadvantageous for me

I mean i can't give any sort of real advice without seeing you do it, but even if you have short arms your form shouldn't really change that much. In fact you should doing the opposite and bring your hips lower not higher.

don't have a video but my form is like pic related

Pull sumo.

I'm 177cm with a 167 wingspan and have a similar setup. I got to 160kg conventional by just training my back a lot, and then I accepted it wasn't meant to be. Switched to sumo for high intensity stuff and I'm very happy with it. Feels much safer for my back. I still do lower intensity volume work conventional though, as I feel it gives better results.

How the form turns out is also very dependent on leg proportions.
>>42551458
yeah. i switched my diddy to sumo and it's amazing

my diddy setup looks exactly the same looking at my videos.
if i try to make my back more vertical my hips shoot up first and if i start at that height i can feel it in my lower back quite a bit. it's hell.
deloaded and now gonna pull sumo for a while to get used to it before going back to heavy lifts but even at not so heavy weight it already feels much more comfortable because i can finally use my legs more and even grip seems to be stronger due to more narrow grip
