When you are doing OHP should the bar touch your clavicle or rest higher?

rest higher, so that the muscle is always under tension, this also prevents injury

Rest point is when the weight is high

i rest it on my upper chest because it hurts when i put it on my clavicles
you should lower it as low as possible while keeping your forearms vertical
some people have long forearms so touching the clavicle would make them change the angle of the forearms relative to the upperarms, resulting in doing a semi tricep extension to get the weight up(this is much harder, would limit your progress)
try out standing one armed dumbell ohp you can go much lower due having more freedom in wrist position
Depends on how long your forearms are, I rest it on my chest, but some of my friends can't go that low without dropping their elbows.
What about grip? Thumb wrapped around or near body like bench press?

thumbs wrapped around of course. thumbs near body puts more stress on shoulders but people will complain about safety again
