i have been working out for about two months now but i haven't really noticed any difference or progress. i asked the coach at the gym if i was doing something wrong and he asked about diet, routine and frequency. i told i eat only lean meat with a little rice each meal, come three times a week and do a routine that he said was a good routine. then i asked what i was doing wrong and he said he didn't know but he said i was probably doing something wrong and i could hire him as a trainer. i left at this point. what could i possibly be doing wrong?

If you're still in the process of losing fat, you're not going to see much in terms of muscle growth. If this is the case, keep lifting, because it will aid you in losing more fat.
If you're trying to grow muscle and you're done cutting, then you're going to have to start eating a lot more.
