Why am I always so lethargic, /fit/? 25 year old male, 6' 180lbs
It's been like this for years if not my entire life, I gained a bit of weight this year but mostly it's muscle I think, since my job is laborious. I eat fairly healthy but admittedly I have a sweet tooth.
Had the same, turns out I have had a hereditary badly functioning thyroid for 4 years. T-thanks mom and dad. Have you had a medical checkup so you know your lvls?

I got my thyroid checked a few years ago to see if it was causing my depression, I don't feel depressed so much these days but definitely lethargic. I got a clean bill of health though so it's not a thyroid issue. Can it just be my diet? I'm planning to cut sodium and sugar from my diet and I'm hoping that will help me from slumping

Because you're a polar bear stuck in a zoo. You're meant to be out in the wild. Try to escape and you'll feel better in no time once you do.

You need sodium retard

Yeah but I eat too much of it sometimes, usually I bring a salty snack to work like crackers and much on them during down time so I want to cut down on that

what do I tell my doc to get it checked out
