When will we reach the stage of fecal transplants for the masses, ala plastic surgery, Lipo, et al.? Would it ever become a "bespoke" service?
For example, fatties getting a fecal transplant from someone who is less efficient at absorbing calories. Would this be possible? I know we can fecal transplant for the reverse, for example.
What if I had my shit analysed and it turns out my intestinal bacteria is sub par - will there be a time when it would be common for people to purchase a transplant from someone with "elite" bacteria?

Intestinal bacteria is actually incredibly important, much more important than has been acknowledged previously, and transplant via feces is actually a legitimate treatment that is starting to develop and become better understood.
Its a relatively new idea and we don't know the extent of its influence yet; but people with bowel disorders can be aided by a fecal transplant; so I'm wondering if fecal transplants could become some sort of "on demand" vanity service akin to current nip/tuck min maxing; fatty getting a fecal transplant from someone with bacteria with poor efficacy so that they don't absorb as many nutrients (basically tapeworm infestation tier but without the fucking living organism inside you), or for body builders/athletes looking for more efficient nutrient absorption
