Lads, I'm calculating my macros for the first time and this is what I have. For context, I'm a 5'11 male at 210lbs and trying to cut
>40% protein (206 g)
>30% carbs (155 g)
>30% fat (59 g)
>total of 2065 calories
Is this fine? I feel like 40% protein is a bit much, isn't it? Sticky says to have 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight.

yeah sticky was right. you dont really want to go over more than 1.5g of protons per lb of bodyweight. I'm on a cut rn and my macros are similar
>35% protein (181g)
>30% carbs (155g)
>35% fat (81g)
>total of 2070 calories
tl;dr . looks fine to me anon 40-30-30 is pretty common for cutting
protein count doesn't matter too much as you're fat anyway, you can get away with 150grams of it. Once you're slimmer and you start to bulk and put on mass, the rule becomes more important

Thanks a bunch. Will continue my cut.
