What would happen if gravity slowly increased 1% every week, would everyone look like a bodybuilder after 3-4 years?

>>42524072
Why?
>>42524072
any science to back that up?
>>42524054
Well, most people would have muscular, strong legs at least, considering they bear most of the gravitational stress in everyday life.
not sure about arms
>>42524054
You'd be dead within the year. Maybe if it was 1% per year or even per decade, we might slowly evolve to be stronger
>>42524054
My guess would be it would start fucking with the way you r body works before you get gains.
Your heart would have to work harder to stop blood from pooling in. Your feet food would press down harder on your stomach there would be pressure on your brain because it is being constantly being pulled down harder then usually. So in 3 years you'd probably be a corps that died a slow painful death.
>>42524054
Everyone would look like a manlet
>>42524090
Kek
>>42524146
>5'4'' becomes the new lanklet
>>42524054
No, more than half the population would just give up and die.
>>42524146
New generation would be.
The people allready living would have back aches due to bone marow in the spine being compressed harder
>>42524054
Everyone would die before 3-4 years you fucking retard. This isn't dragonball. Stop watching anime and go lift you fat weeabo fuck.
>>42524072
what if you're wrong?
>>42524054
They would die because our vascular system wouldn't be able to circulate blood into our vital organs. Your proposed increase would almost octuple the gravity in four years.
>>42524090
Nope
>>42524605
I'm not.
>>42524628
This is the only answer.
Blood would pool in your extremities and you would die.
>>42524628
why doesn't goku die then faggot?
>>42524670
Goku is a fucking alien who can breathe in vacuum, also anime isn't real.
>>42524054
Yes
Now imagine how Gorillas would look like
>>42524054
Most plants and animals species would die rather quickly so probably not. Also enjoy collapsing architecture.
>>42524692
>can breathe in a vacuum
False retard. Why would he be so concerned about Namek blowing up (in terms of his own safety) if he could breathe in space?

3 x 52 weeks = 156
gravity after 3 Years: 1.01 ^156 =4.722
lets say a newbie starts with benching 50kg at normal gravity. He would have to be able to bench 236.1 kg after 3 years, without ever having to change the weights on the bar.
The trainee would have to lower the weights.
>tfw lateral raise 2lbs after a year
No. The human body evolvedd to adapt to the Earth's gravity with small periods of higher stress on specific muscles at a time.
>>42524054
Your blood would get too heavy and your heart would give out or it would start tearing holes in your vasculature.
Experiments in centrifuges have shown that humans can tolerate 2G (2 times Earth's gravity) for up to 22 hours with no major ill effects. The long-term health effects are unknown but potentially serious. One major environmental effect: Grain crops (wheat, barley, rice) would immediately collapse under their own weight and die off, causing massive food shortages
