Currently doing PPL. Tryna cut a bit of fat.
Should I be doing any cardio? When should I be doing it? How much?
Yes!
If im doing upper body, ill do cardio right after or earlier/later in the day. I usually dont do cardio on a leg day, but if I feel like it I separate them by a few hours.
I'm doing push/pull with the only real leg exercise being squats, plus a really random work schedule, so I just tack 3x5 squats onto a push or pull day.
I do 45 mins 15% incline treadmill at 10-10.5 METS before i lift. Works well with my cut and i burn 6-700 kcal. I have plenty of energy for lifting.after, i do ppl. If i lift first my energy is not quite there. Just my personal preference.
Not neccesary with cardio but overall fitness will be better.

I do sprints or run for a few miles first thing in the morning, and workout in the evening.
