Well /fit/, apparently I have psoriasis.Had something similar to pic related on my right palm for the last 2 months and it itches like crazy.
Anyway, i went to a dermatologist today, and she told me that i should switch my diet, since apparently a big reason for this is that my liver cant properly absorb vitamin-a and i should start eating mainly lean meats and green veggies, while avoidint stuff with high acidity like tomatoes, pork, potatoes, etc.
The problem is, that i've been on keto for the longest time and i had GREAT results because of it, do you think that the keto diet might be responsible for this shit?

Do relaxed paleo and keep carbs <100g/day, you'll have just as good results

A vitamin deficiency can be the cause. Honestly I think it's just better to eat a balanced diet but do what you will.
They didnt prescribe you any cream or anything as well? Also pretty sure potatos are not acidic.

She is right as to your diet may be triggering the psoriasis to flare up. As to what's causing it, you'll have to change up your diet, not all at once though, but slowly so you can see when it comes about. So take notice of the things you eat from now on. Keep in mind though, she's just making an assumption that your liver is abnormal function, remember, you can become a doctor but not necessarily a good one. See what the endocrinologist has to say.
Other things to consider should be the amount of stress your accustomed to as well as the sleep quality.
Take note of the amount of sugar you ingest, too. The less the better for these skin conditions. I know when I start eating that delicious ice cream that my dermatitis will get flare within a few days. Coupled with a stress period (work/school), the red flaky skin comes on with a vengeance.
