Most people who THINK they can do power cleans are actually curling the bar onto their shoulders.

It's legitimately not that hard to learn how to powerclean. Besides, the common pleb in the gym doesn't need to learn how to clean 220kg. You don't need to be perfect doing a power clean, olympic athletes are a different sort of people.
