The fitness requirements? You need to hit minimal thresholds on a 1 mile run, pushups in a minute, situps in a minute, and abdominal circumference, and exceed some or all of the minimums by enough to have a high enough composite score. The exact numbers depend on your age.

it's ridiculous; band camp is near on the horizon and i'll finally feel confident going shirtless in the near 110 degree midday southern sun and yet i can't fucking stop eating

just now i had a bowl of cereal and raspberries+blueberries and then toasted naan bread with banana and peanut butter; fine on its own but goddamn at nearly midnight?? holy fuck

and it's my mum's birthday, so i'll definitely be seeing the senpai tomorrow and we'll no doubt go out

like god i want to enjoy this but every semblance of progress is some kind of high, and any semblance of regression the opposite, resulting in a near maniacal panicked frenzy

anyone here managed to maintain a healthy relationship with food? i honestly can't even remember not caring what i ate, and sure, that's how i ended up like this, but 'making it' at this point is going to consist solely of not fucking having nightmares because i ate a cookie and some ice cream at a community cookout

Exactly. Now use the fact that you feel like shit to your advantage and fucking REMEMBER that feeling the next time you get an urge to binge. If you really did cut for 3 months straight then you can keep going and go even longer this time. Keep track of your goals and your progress made so far and don't let this one day fuck up your feelings towards losing weight.

Believe me, a 4,000 calorie binge is bad but I've seen much much worse in these threads alone.
>>
Is murdering seven rats via traps considered cardio?
>>
Hey /fat/

I'm currently doing 3 days of lifts with 2 recovery between and weekends off. Wondering what a good 30-45 minute cardio routine might be, just something optional for recovery days if I feel restless or have eaten a bit too much.
>>
>>42490916
Cycling would be the obvious choice
>>
>>42490926
I kinda like treadmill jogging just because the machine sets the pace and won't stop unless I push the button, but cycling does seem like a good choice too. Just gotta stay disciplined enough to keep the heart rate going.
>>
>>42490619
Anytime lad. I love these threads. /fat/ is ultimate comfy.
>>
>>42490938
If you had your own preference why would you ask?

The reason to cycle is because it is the cardio that is most like your lifts.

>>42490521
If you did good for 3 months and ate like complete shit for one day then there is nothing to worry about, except for the physical discomfort it gives you. Just drink a lot of water and get back to cutting. If binging is a problem for you, you can try do a reasonably sized cheat meal once every 1 or 2 weeks for example. It helped me with the psychological aspect of cutting for sure. It is more satisfying to eat a treat after you did well once in a while.

>>42491181
I used to agree. And I don't disagree. But I think weighing every day is fine if you can take it in context of fluctuations.

I'm checking every day to have a more complete picture. And now that I am I understand going up a bit or staying the same doesn't mean I fucked up, that's just natural fluctuation.

People think of weight as one number, but it's really a range. Once you get that, the actual number stops being important.

Ok, so no bullshit here, who LEGIT has beaten binge eating? my /fat bros who where +300lbs with seriously bad eating disorders where u at? even after 2 years, i still relapse from time to time, it's a fact of life and i've accepted it, i'll have to live with the constant feeling of wanting to just empty the fuck out of my refrigerator and shove anything edible down my throat. Fasting helps to control it a lot, that and constant cardio. But i've probably gained as much as i've lost in these 2 years, the only reason why i'm almost 100lbs lighter is because i never give up even though i know i'll eventually relapse again, i just focus on working hard after every binge.

Smoking and drinking were TEN times easier to beat, i'm not kidding, i still laugh when people say this isn't an actual addiction.

>>42491668
is this your first time fasting? getting shaky from no eating for 12-16 hours is normie tier, specially if you were used to eating breakfast/4 meals a day, you'll feel fine after a few days of doing it. You wont die, the body is not that stupid (unless you're below 18 bmi which i doubt)
>>
>>42491689
I'm 5'8" and started at a high of 200~ pounds. I dropped to 180 like it was nothing, must've been two months at a high estimate. 180 to 170 has taken much longer and I've done nothing different except adjust accordingly to my new TDEE. Don't sweat it man, just keep putting in the time and effort and you'll see results.
>>
>>42491698

>>42491709

Then switch it up. If you're skipping breakfast and having lunch/dinner, get breakfast and lunch, skip dinner. Alternatively you can 'cheat' by getting coffee with a bit of milk or tea. The key here is to not eat.

former +350 (now 175), I never relapsed, I always refeed, after 8 weeks of cutting (~1200) i ate at TDEE (+2300) for about 1 week and then started to eat a little more but still cutting(1600), you gotta find a balance.

Remember, "if it fits your macros then it's ok to eat" is a garbage meme no one should EVER follow, eat healthy and don't sperg on calories, you gotta be consistent, if you're cutting, well, good for you, if you're maintaining, awesome, but don't switch between cut and bulking in a matter of days, you have to transition in stages.

I binged a little 3 months ago (just ate an abnormal quantity of nuts), but because I was under my TDEE i actually didn't gain any weight, but, as expected I ate 2-300 calories more the next day, and then I was back to my eating habits.

hope it helps.

In the 60th hour of my dry fast this morning, I masturbated. I felt extremely sleepy after doing it but I powered on and didn't sleep (although there was some nodding off). I realise now that pornography truly is something that must be fully rejected.

In the 72nd hour of my dry fast tonight, I intend to go to McDonalds and drink a vanilla milkshake. I'm a bit afraid though as I've recently read news articles stating that there's fecal bacteria in the ice machines in several popular fast food restaurants in the UK.
https://nypost.com/2017/07/20/fecal-bacteria-found-in-mcdonalds-burger-king-and-kfc-drinks/
http://www.businessinsider.com/feces-bacteria-fast-food-drinks-2017-7
I tried looking for discussion on this on reddit and what I found was people dismissing it on the grounds that "fecal bacteria is everywhere". Apparently, it's even on my toothbrush. Now, I'm not going to ask /fit/ for permission to eat fast food but what about drinks? I do drink mostly water now (especially after learning that juice is basically just sugar) but nonetheless, is it safe to drink milkshakes and smoothies from McDonalds?

Like, no water? For what purpose?

And why break a fast with something as awful as a fast food milkshake? You can't get a real vanilla shake, if you're going to eat something bad for you?
>>
>>42492354
Probably he drinks water but cuts out unhealthy drinks like soda and juices
>>
>>42492354
Yes, a dry fast means no food and no water. I think I almost pushed my arm into a state of necrosis last night. I slept badly but because I've had no water as well as no food, my blood has become much thicker with an almost sludge-like consistency. I think the term is "ipanemia"? Well anyway, I slept funny and when I woke up in the night, I could not feel my right arm at all. I've done this before in the past and my arm was somewhat numb but it was never so severe that there was literally no feeling. So, I reposition myself so that my right arm is dangling off of the edge of the bed and I actually feel a surge of blood push through some kind of blockage to get to my finger tips and then I feel another surge leave my fingertips and come back up my arm. Even now, the flesh around the main bone of my forearm (the "radius"? The not-ulna I think) is suffering from a pins and needles feeling. I'm convinced I almost needed amputation.

The purpose of my dry fast? Weight loss. Apparently, just 24 hours of fasting is enough to push the body into a state of ketosis which means fat-burning. You don't really see the effects of fasting until the second/third day which is when you're much deeper into the fasting process. I thought I might lose some weight if I fasted but I'm beginning to think fasting doesn't really help at all (except crippling the intensity of food cravings) and that it might be best to stick to cardio and restricted calories.

What's a real vanilla shake?
>>
>>42492393
No, drinking water during a fast is water fasting. If you're taking in any solids or liquids, you won't get the true benefits that are only attainable with dry fasting. This isn't something that can be cheated.

I don't think I'm overdoing it. I find fasting is numbing rather than painful. On the second day, it was anyway. I admit, I'm actually feeling hungry now and I have a history of intermittent fasting for some months now (16 hours, no food or drink).

But yeah, I feel this is something within my capacity.

A milkshake made with actual vanilla ice cream scooped by hand and mixed using a shake mixer. Fast food shakes are made from a mix, dude.

If you get one ,try black and white. It's vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. It's awesome.

Also dry fasting cannot be good for you, please don't die.

I feel that I truly fucked up.

I had an unplanned cheat meal last night. The first in over a year and a half of dieting. I had a big plate of fried chicken, fries, bread with oil, and then I went into the kitchen and ate a few big scoops of nutella my roommate had.

Today I'm up 1.5 pounds. I had hoped to get to my goal weight before the second week in September, but I realize that I just destroyed those chances. I destroyed my chances of reaching my goal because of one fucking cheat meal.

I thought milkshakes might be safe since the fecal bacteria was found in the ice machines i.e. if you order any drink with ice cubes in it, it's going to have fecal bacteria in it. Milkshakes don't use ice cubes however they are still cold drinks. How do they make their milkshakes cold? I have no idea. If any ingredients touch ice cubes however then the milkshakes would also have to be avoided.

>>42492559
I'll look into getting a shake mixer. Personally, when i'm not getting McDonalds milkshakes, I just use the Nestle mix powder and regular milk that we have in the house.

What do you mean by "actual" vanilla ice cream? If I buy a tub of vanilla ice cream from the freezer section in ASDA or LIDL or whatnot, am I buying real ice cream?

From what I read, dry fasting is actually very good for you. There are a lot of portions in the body where the water is "stagnant". These are ideal breeding grounds for the various bacterium your body has accumulated over the years from your diet in modern society. A water fast is the equivalent of blasting all the "rivers" with a high current however it doesn't get everything. A dry fast is the equivalent of "draining the swamp". With no water, you create a "survival of the fittest" type scenario for your body's cells and only the healthiest can survive it. All parasites and bacterium and useless, weak cells die off. Dry fasting cleans the body in the same way a forest fire "cleans" the forest. That's what I read anyway.
>>
>>42492588
Or you could spend more time exercising. I walked 18 miles and did my SS routine today and burned an estimated 2k calories. That's probably not entirely accurate, but combine it with a 1k deficit and you'll be fine.

Or just, deadlines for fitness are arbitrary (usually) so you'll hit your goal a week later.

Because that would break the dry fast.

>>42492942
I believe it's healthy in doses, yes. It's a cleansing process. A fire of sorts. Ideally, I intend to do one five-day dry fast every month. There are physicians that look into ways to integrate fasting into your daily life. I'm convinced of its health benefits. It's just that I went straight from intermittent fasting, straight into dry fasting. I never once did water fasting, as is strongly recommended. Consequently, I believe I may have taken a risk here but nonetheless, I still believe in fasting as a healing process. This isn't a way of life, it's like spring cleaning for the body.

>>42492948
Not until the 72 hours is complete.

>>42492966

>>42492997
When I did research into dry fasting, people said that it did indeed thicken their blood somewhat and I believe that I too am experiencing this. I don't know what hypercoagulation is but nonetheless, I'm not in any immense pain right now. As of this post, I'm just hungry and after masturbation, I noticed a considerable drop in energy level to the point of nodding off and nearly falling out of my chair.

What's a PE?

Besides, while people have died from dehydration and starvation, I don't think dry fasting has ever killed anyone.

Question to the panel:
My friend(certified broscientist) insists that even though protein powder has a high calorie count it is a lot easier to burn through than other types of food.
I've been sort of reluctant to drink protein shakes because of the high kcal, but if i do it before rowing a bit will i absorb it any differently than other sources of energy?
He mentioned shit like 'lipid' and some other stuff i didn't understand, but i wanted to believe him so i could drink my delicious fartpowder cocktails and not feel bad.
So basically, is it broscience or not..?

pic unrelated, it's a dog.
>>
>>42493108
lipid = fat
>>
>>42493108
depends on your goals really. if you're aggressively cutting you should be getting your protein from food like chicken breast and egg whites. if you're bulking then you need protein powder to easily hit your required intake.

if you insist on cutting and drinking protein powder, and if you're not having issues with hunger, just drink the fucking things. it's probably not going to make a gigantic difference.
>>
>>42493118
That was what i got from Google, basically just temporary energy storage. The idea he was presenting was that protein powder would find it's way straight to the front of the "lets use this shit" category and the caloric count would matter less than if i ate an equal amount of oats/tendies/whatever.

>>42493108

I eat a bunch of chicken, but i cut quite a bit down(2700 maintainance, most days i'm around 1000 to 1300 kcal). It's tough, but i'm a tard and i can't really get a lot of exercise so i'm sticking with this method until my situation improves.
The reason why i was drinking it in the first place was because i wanted to make sure i had enough protein since several bouts of weightloss has made me shrink and my muscles are all but gone. Hoping it could alleviate it, and i feel like it gives me more energy for workouts.
>>42493138
I only snack on greens though, and i try to stay really low on kcal so even 200 from a protein shake is quite a bit if you subtract it from my diet over a week.

>>
>>42493193
Man i just get confused by all this shit, i get so much info and i just decided to cut calories and figure it out on the move.
All i've gathered about protein is that if you don't have enough your muscles will atrophy fast, and if you get too much in powder form you shit bricks and fart all day. I've already lost a lot of muscle, after dieting several times and relapsing, this is the first time i've been really successful and kept up the effort, so i imagine by the time i'm about done i'll have very little muscle left.
It really sucks, i can feel my knees and back aching, and i want to get more muscle to hopefully alleviate both. But i get the impression that it's very hard to build muscle during a weight loss, and i need to lose weight bad. It's sucks to be fat man.
>>
>>42493260
Just lift, drink your protein and stay below your TDEE and you'll lose the fat while keeping some of the muscle.

The alternative is just starving yourself, not getting enough protein and ending up a skinnyfat bitch (not recommended)
>>
>>42493197

>Just lift, drink your protein and stay below your TDEE and you'll lose the fat while keeping some of the muscle.
That was the plan, though i have been kind of starving myself. It works, but i make sure to get enough daily protein for my weight. It's a shit way to do it, but i'm a bit unstable so keeping it simple like this has been effective.
Being able to fit clothes i 'grew' out of years ago was a big fucking win, even if my diet is a bit fucked my life is getting better fast. It's absurd how many things you accept in order to stay a planetoid.

I've been doing IF and I'm now down to one meal a day.

To be honest, I started IF at a time when I didn't have work so I pretty much got by just being in the weak and slightly fuzzy stage by riding it out doing nothing.

I still lost weight though.

I got myself a vaporizer to have something as a "treat" during my non-eating hours and I drink mineral water.

Black coffee in the morning is the best thing. Caffeine will pick you up and suppress your appetite.

Power through it as best you can. You won't feel the hunger and weakness after about 4 days of going down a smaller window. Now that I'm down to one meal a day I have lots of energy. I feel like when I do get my calories in... my body actually uses the simple sugars for energy.

>How do you /fat/ bros stay motivated at all?
I am a recovering fat. Let me tell you my secrets.
1. I focus on 10kg(22lbs) at a time, making each point on the scale personal. Nothing feels better than seeing you lost weight, and setting a 10kg mark gives me a more immediate goal than f.ex 70kg would.
2. Learn to make green shit edible, it keeps you full better than most other stuff. I make portions of 300ish kcal with a bit of dressing on just to make it more interesting. Other than that i subsist on coffee and rolled oats with flavored protein powder to make it a bit more yummy.
3. I shelled out for a rowing machine, $1300 approximately for a Concept 2 which is great quality but a bit expensive for poors. It helps me work out without putting too much strain on any one part, and it's just generally a great machine for fatties if you can find one that wont break under you gargantuan ass
4. Liquids: Soup drinks(basically herbal soup drinks), tea, coffee, or anything else that can trick a lot of water into your body and make you feel full. Get something that tastes good, and something that you can heat to help convince your unending hunger that it's being fed.
5. That's basically all i'm doing, it helps with the unhappy times, and nothing makes feel motivated like seeing your progress. Count calories, and aim for 1-2kg(4-8lbs) loss each week. At first it feels like drops of water in the ocean, but it just keeps getting better. If you experience a plateau just eat a bit more for a few days, try fasting, and accept that it's slowing down a bit. You're in it for the long haul, it keeps getting better.

Hope it helped, don't give up. It feels so good once you start to see someone you recognize in the mirror.

>learn to make green shit edible
What the fuck is wrong with all you people that can't stomach vegetables? Or are you all using hyperbole when you suggest that veggies don't taste good/need to be made edible. Broccoli is super tasty with just a pinch of salt and boiling it - in fact, pretty much all veg is good simply with salt and boiling. Do parents not teach their children to eat veg? I'm losing it over here watching people hate on veggies.
>>
>>42494059
success gives you confidence man, keep at it and it will come. it's not a skill, it's all endurance and it gets easier the longer you go.
>>42494066
I think you underestimate just how much you crave shit when you're fat. And you subject yourself to so much garbage, bad habits, and pain and discomfort.
You just end up in a place where you feel like you need shit food to exist.
Still i always loved broccoli, i should have mentioned it before, it's gods own vegetable.
And it's not that veggies taste bad, again you just end up craving trash after eating it for so long. Once you get used to dieting, and you're hungry as fuck looking for a snack, you can find your way back to the veggies without feeling cheated. I eat salads a lot now, it fills me up, tastes great, and it doesn't make me feel like i need to chase it with a pizza and a coke.
After dieting for a while, one thing i absolutely love is having a bowl with carrots in it, just to snack whenever i pass the fridge and want to deter myself. But before i started dieting, i would have looked at that bowl like it killed my parents and shit on my bed.
>>
>>42494126
See, I guess I just can't understand that mindset because I've never been there (not /fat/, just enjoy coming here to give advice and encourage those on their journey) because in my head there's nothing better than a mountain of vegetables. I ate over a kilogram of red cabbage the other day with some onion and ginger and it was so fucking good.

Got a link to some recipes you used?
Vegetables arent really an issue for me anymore buy liquid diets dont sound bad either plus cheap. Was using pic related for my diet plan that i found on the sticky while looking at how to lose weight.
Would the liquid diet however interfere with building muscle or does it even matter.
And thanks for the encouraging former fat bro.

Calipers are a very accurate method of measuring BF if you know how to use them. But I don't know how much it will change the numbers because of loose skin.
And don't trust BMI for BF, it's almost useless.

It's really like an addiction mindset, that's why it's so hard to break the habit of eating shit. And more often than not the laziness of fat people comes from their apathy and acceptance of the situation rather than just bad personality traits. People can get used to anything, if they get the idea that they're just fat pieces of shit, then they'll accept it and begin refusing you if you say otherwise.
>>42494391
I didn't use a recipe, i just dumped some salad, beans, tomatos, etc into a bowl and put a bit of dressing on it. The only effort i put into it is by boiling stuff, simply because i don't want to deal with it and already enjoy it. My mom started getting me all kinds of weird shitty beans with low calories, and some kind of weird sauces she make and together it helps a lot to fill me up. I honestly know shit about cooking, and the veggies still turn out good enough to be a meal.
Not sure what a 'liquid diet' would do for you, but drinking a lot helps you feel full, and it helps keep you off soft drinks if you're just quitting that too. Don't ask me about building muscle, i'm only still landing after flying fat for 10 years. I just wanted you guys to know what got me this far, i will need to rebuild a lot of muscle myself soon.
Sorry i couldn't help you out with recipes, i've been too lazy with that, and relying on crazy vegan relatives to drop stuff in my lap.

Why not do a normal fast for weight loss? It's really retarded not to drink water, there are no benefits.
>>
>>42494636

I tried doing this. That is... I tried eating a really fuck-off huge meal for my OMAD. You simply can't eat enough in one meal to go over your TDEE allowance. At my most decadent I couldn't go past half my TDEE allowance. That's pretty much when I stopped counting. You'd have to do something pretty exceptional to hack OMAD like that and it wouldn't even be pleasurable. Like... drinking cooking oil mixed with sugar.

Around 10-12%, yeah. The most demotivating part is that I haven't even reached 15%. I feel like I should be there already. It just sucks, I lost weight everywhere, but only minimal amounts in my gut. It sticks out slightly less now.

I can't look in the mirror without seeing that shitty hanging gut. My ribs are visible, my arms have gotten a bit smaller from muscle loss, same with traps, but I have a fat gut I don't know what to do with.

Should I get calipers for a more accurate measurement? Where do I get them?

I did OMAD for 2 weeks, it worked for me that time, but then I just got bored of being hungry most of the day. But, at the same time I counted calories, and ate very healthy: my meal at the end of the day was always, breast chicken + veggies + rice + 3 to 5 pieces of fruit. It amounted to, from what I remember, 900- 1100 calories. It works for some people, but I don't think it's for everyone, and the ones who do it should do the effort to eat mostly "clean" food: you probably won't get past your TDEE, and you'll be much more satiated.

fasted cardio here having the meaning of 3.8-4.5 mph on an incline for like 30-60 minutes.
>>
>>42495158
Don't do keto, with less carbs you recovery will be worst.
You've been dieting for a long time, sometimes it's wise to do a Diet break (2 weeks of eating at maintenance), it's good for Psychological reasons, and Physiological too. Read this article to understand more about it:

http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/the-full-diet-break.html/

If you don't want to, then just keep dieting, IDK what's your TDEE, but if you are really not losing weight, you could lower your calorie intake a little more. Obviously, even for a beginner, there's a point where you won't be able to gain strength, specially in a cut, and you will have to only maintain muscle mass, while losing fat.
>>
>>42489360

I drank a can of coke for the first time in weeks.
>>
>>42495189

I'm eating 1800 calories per day. I weigh my foods to make sure it is precise, and follow exact portion sizes. I do cardio 3 times per week which burns an additional 500 calories or so per session. I really don't think I can reduce it any more than I already have.

>>42495222

Thank you. I will give that a try. I have been thinking a break may be necessary. When I started at 235lbs I was 23% body fat but haven't been checked since I have lost the weight.

At this point lowering my calories any more than they are would drive me insane. I am alright with where I am at but its just seeming to not work. I'll avoid keto for now, but am still considering it on the back burner.

First weigh in below 200lbs! 199.

It took a long time. I've been lazing out on my diet big time, sneaking in snacks all the time. Thing is that they're always small snacks so it just slows me down. Probably could've hit this milestone a few weeks or months ago if I was really pushing myself. Slow and steady I suppose.

Thought you were shitposting but you sound serious and maybe even underage so I'm going to be 100% serious right now, please listen.

Ketosis happens whether you have water or not, it's only affect by 2 things, sugar and fat.
Lack of sugar results in ketosis, and if you have really easily digestible fat (like coconut oil) you might be able to kickstart it.
Never not hydrate.

This next piece of advice is far more general, but please think about it, I will all cap it so you will actually read it.
ANALOGIES ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T GRASP CONCEPTS BUT STILL NEED TO KNOW THE BASICS OF SAID CONCEPT, THEY NEVER TELL YOU THE TRUTH.
>draining the swamp
>fire
>cleanse
All bullshit, I haven't heard any actual scientific data backing up dry cleanses it's always just nonsense and analogies.
Poets and philosophers might be able to pull heartstrings with analogies (which isn't a bad thing) and might help motivate or see things from different perspectives, but for scientific facts (like your goddamn body) don't rely on them.
You will shorten your life, die, or perhaps lose hair/other bad shit on a dry fast.
Just eat least dammit.

am i ok on 1000 cal a day diet or should i force myself to eat 500 below my recommended?
>>
>>42498653
>am i ok on 1000 cal a day
go for it if you can keep it up

the reason why people are against it is because most fatties lack discipline and thus will relapse from that kind of "shock treatment" and binge and whatnot, but you seem to be ok with it so keep at it. starvation mode is a fucking meme
>>
>>42493307
Your buddy isn't wrong but it isn't something you should worry about, this also isn't /fat/'s expertise so not a great place to ask.
There's no fiber and very little digestion time (it's powder not food) so it processes a bit faster, carbs will be easily available for energy and theoretically protein would be up for grabs slightly faster.
If you are a believer in eating frames (like needing protein within three hours of lifting) then by all means do it, but it doesn't matter and that "quick" digestion will just be stored if not used up like usual.

Don't worry about too much, things are FAR more complicated than CICO but CICO itself works for 95% of people.
CICO is wrong in the same way Newtonian physics is wrong, it's broad and explains almost everything but you still occasionally have something that goes 98 mph instead of 100 and the reason was because netwon didn't know about it.
Those 2 mph won't change a thing for someone that doesn't have a disorder, you will lose/gain weight on CICO trust me.

Fun fact if you don't account for special relativity gold would be pure white.

I went to a street festival last night. I had eaten dinner beforehand, and debated getting some food anyway. I could justify it by exercising longer.

Anons, what exercise should I do, so that when I lose weight, I don't look flabby? I'm mostly interested in arms and stomach.

Close your mouth. Breathe through your nose. It's a better filter for air.
How much you lost so far son.

Nice, anon. You look a heck of a lot better and younger.

You have rosacea too, huh? Do you feel like the redness is getting worse as you lose weight? I was under the impression it would improve, yet it seems like the more I lose, the worse my skin becomes.

I hate myself and want to progress but just 2 hours ago I had a 20 piece meal from mcshit. Im weak willed. What do you guys use as motivators? I have no girl in my life and honestly I could care the fuck less because Im 21 and I don't have a degree yet. Im not morbidly obese but im severely out of shape and I feel fucking slow and sluggish and i know I'd feel better if I got fit. And I shouldn't look like a dad at 21 I look like fuckin ricky from TPB.

Hey /fat/, any good beginner bodybuilding routines? I've been doing west side for skinny bastards but I'm not a fan, i feel like the exercises are too weird and im not feeling good about the core exercises involved. I mean i know people have mentioned SS and SL but is there one that's better than the other? To clarify, I've been enjoying lifting but I'm fairly new and WS4SB has really been annoying me as im stuck looking at correct form on my phone and learning new exercises every day. Just looking for a solid, easy-ish routine to follow
>>
>>42499705
Thanks man. I haven't noticed a difference in rosacea, but honestly I kinda like it or at least I don't mind it. Is that weird?

>>42499691
I work with kids, so hopefully neither.

>>42500119
My health. I got diabeetus. Don't be like me.

>>42500143
This isn't QTDDTOT. The best plan depends on your goals, but if you're asking me do SS and read the book. With that as a base you can't go wrong.

Thanks, and this is /fat/, which i imagine is primarily compromised of beginners (hence, being fat). So i figured it was appropriate to ask others who may be starting their routines what has best worked for them. Ill check out SS, though.
>>
>>42500238
Its fair to ask here, but considering this is primarily beginners is the same reason the advice here won't be as informed as the rest of the board, generally.
>>
>>42500195
>Is that weird?
Normally, it would be, but yours isn't bad at all. It just looks kind of cute as if someone pinched your cheeks or you've been out in the cold. Mine stops so abruptly under my eyes that it looks strange and I still get acne at the same time as well as a burning sensation when I get a flare-up. I'm a bit jelly.

If you're still here, do you use anything in particular on your face? Even with the blushing of the cheeks, your skin looks healthy and smooth.

Recently I've started drinking 3 liters of water daily. I think that's helped my skin a bit, maybe. I'd strongly recommend getting enough water to everyone on /fat/

Other than that, I use a generic moisturizer on my face. I don't even know the brand and I'm not sure if it's helping, but I figure it couldn't hurt.
