I was 175 pounds 5'8, right now I'm 145.

I'm probably the definition of skinny fat, so I'm unsure of what to do from here

My ultimate goal is otter mode, it'll take me one hell of a long time but that's what I'm going for.

I don't know if I should keep losing weight, or eat at maintenance and lift. I've never lifted before, so I have pretty much no muscle.

Advice I read online tell me to go as low as 130 or so before starting to try to gain muscle, but I'm unsure about that.

They also state that skinny fat people cannot lose weight and build muscle to replace it at the same time, but I thought if you ate at maintenance and lifted that's basically what would happen.

Just not sure what's best from here. Thanks for any advice.
