I wanna start doing cardio a few days a week for 20-30 mins but I don't want to kill my gains. What do? Should I quit lifting?...

If you don't want to kill your gains, lift first or do cardio on non-lifting days. Doing cardio first will fatigue your muscles cause your lifts to suffer.

Cardio before will deplete your glycogen storage so you won't have as much energy to lift and won't get as good of a workout always do cardio after you lift

If you arent pushing your muscles to their limit you aren't going to be able to lift heavier. If your mustcles aren't at their current limit, how are you supposed to get past that?

yea but if are fatigued from cardio, then do some lifting of weight you expect to lift when fully rested, but are struggling, close to failing sets. How is that not a form of pushing it to the limit.
I don't think increased weight is the only cause of muscle hypertrophy
