no you don't. 95% of it is diet. exersize can burn calories, so if you don't eat any extra and add exersize, you will lose weight. it takes a fair amount of time to burn off an extra 300 calories a day.

I'm 6'0 and I started at 240 and am currently 223. Gottta count your calories, man. It took a lot of fooling around at first... I don't think my TDEE is 2700 with moderate activity or even 2400 which is what most sites told me. I think its closer to 2100. I mostly sit around all day if it isn't gym day so I suppose that is accurate. Just don't give up and keeping trying until you figure out your expenditure.

this is how to figure out the calories of food: scale

>apple is 52 cal. per 100g
>find an apple, take out the core, weigh it
>it weighs 125g
>1.25 * 52 = 65 cal.
>weigh some ground beef
>350g
>112g = 200 for 90% lean beef
>350g * 200 cal./112g = 625 cal.

Just search the food you are eating and enter the weight. Done.

High or lowball if you have to guess (going out to eat) depending on your goals. Weightloss = highball, weight gain = lowball.

For me it worked better to write down what I ate in a journal, now I can pretty much do it in my head since I eat a lot of the same foods every day
