found this guys youtube channel and i'm intrigued by his training style. He does a 4 day bodybuilding split, over a 10-14 day cycle as opposed to the traditional weekly split. he does 4-6 exercises per workout, 2-4 sets per exrcise, and usually goes to failure for his sets. in one of his vids he said his shoulder workout was 3 sets of dumbbell press and 1 set of shrugs to failure.

There's merit in his steroid injections.

Interesting. Can still make gains lifting like this of course but studies do show 48-72 hours muscle protein synthesis and recovery window so you are in essence able to make more gains training more frequent, but this style does work and I don't think it's a one size fits all approach. Some people lose strength a lot quicker and others don't. When I've been busy recently I throw in 2 full body workouts a week and I maintain strength and probably am improving my strength but I don't tend to up the weight, I just start upping the weight when I go back to upper lower 4 days p/w
