Lets talk chest fat for a second.
Be gentle, Im still a bit green to getting in shape. I hold a good deal of chest fat. Its not gyno, its jusy where my body likes to store those extra pounds. Ive been doing cardio like crazy to reduce overall body fat and theres already been a noticable difference; down 30lbs in the last few months.
Im looking to start lifting now so I dont end up a skinny fat, but Im a bit worried (probably unwarrantedly so) that if I start working on my chest that the added muscle will just stack on the fat before its gone and make my chest look worse than it currently is.
Is my thinking incorrect? If so, please correct me. Thanks much.
Nope muscle will make the thing more defined. Also muscle wont get "on top" of fat.

Just cut hard until you have almost no body fat. That is it. Get crazy lean and your pecs will be fucking defined. Simple.

Just get on keto or paleo diet and make sure you go to the gym 5 days a week.
It will all start coming together in a about a year
