I started doing shift work about 4 months ago,
It really fucked with my routine and about two weeks ago I stopped going to the gym and doing some body weight exercise at home and eating absolute shit,
had to buy supplements and fridge full of healthy food to make myself commit to a routine again, And even then I can only do it if work hours permit (They change all the time)
How do you shift workers make it easier on yourselves without effecting health/gym?
How do you plan around weird hours?

It's not that hard... go when you're not working. I work 7-11am and then again 2-6pm, which leaves plenty of time to workout. Unless you're working 70+ hours a week it should not be an issue.

some weeks I do, Some I don't
I work security at events, and depending on size of the event some days I work 18 hours a day for a week on end.
some weeks I only work 20 hours, I have the time some weeks but the inconsistency is terrible.
