I had to quit my job at Amazon day 1 due to back pain.
Lowe back pain, I'm pretty fat (220 pounds and 5'10)
I'm doing cardio which is helping but what are some good exercises I can do so my back doesn't give out in the future?

Bad posture is a huge factor aside from losing weight. Make sure you have decent shoes, aren't slouching, and don't sleep in a weird position.
Next, do some LIGHWEIGHT squats and deadlifts; but concentrate on achieving perfect form. The squats will strengthen your posterior chain, the deadlift will strengthen your lower back.
Finally, lose some fucking weight.

I need results asap, I need to be able to get through ya work day of physical labor.
Preferably be able to stand 6 hours without back pain within a month.
