I'm doing 100 pushups every day on a cut (mostly to maintain muscle) while I try to look for a good gym
I know I won't get bigger on a deficit, but can I get stronger?
I used to only be able to do sets of 15, now I an do sets of 25.
I've heard that doing 100 pushups everyday will only result in "getting good at doing pushups", but will I get any strength gains?
inb4 100 pushups is nothing, it's a step up from what I could do

Not really
Its kind of like how walking doesn't really do much for most people when it comes to muscular development no matter how much you do it because your body is really efficient at doing that particular movement.
That's an extreme example but you get the idea.
If you could start adding weight to the pushups ex: wearing a backpack and gradually adding books, then you would be able to gain strength from it.
