Hey fit, im on a bulk and i feel like a fat shit. i was interested in looking towards a keto bulk for the rest of it, because i definitely wanna keep upping lifts and adding muscle. I feel as though i have insulin resistance based on previous history of diabetes in my family among other things. What do you guys think?
I dont look as fat as i could in this picture, but my midsection has gained considerable fat compared to before, disproportionately so with the my muscle gains. Running a upper lower split

Check out "The Truth about Bulking and Cutting" or something similar by Athlean X. Basically he suggests eating lots of protein to maintain positive blood nitrogen levels while staying at a 100-200 calorie deficit, which he claims can keep you in an anabolic state while losing fat. Ive never tried it personally but Athlean X is a very smart man who knows his shit, and the science seems to support what he says. It seems like staying in a slight caloric defecit with a high percentage of the calories coming from protein could net the results you're looking for.

I'm in a similar boat to you OP. same sort or build except you're a bit more muscular than me. My plan is just to continue the bulk until I hit 90kg, then do my best to cut bf to 12%.

you look to be at least 20% bodyfat if not more, you should not be bulking with bodyfat that high
