you can be a sick cunt if you wanna be
if you're sad what's the point in not adding lifting into your daily routine of nothingness? it's quite literally "putting the reps in."
in the depths of my depression the only thing that kept me from lifting were times when I just couldn't eat, but counting macros eventually saved me there
when you reduce all of it to checking boxes (hit x protein, do this exercise for x sets x reps, progressively overload week to week by x intensity, etc) you don't actually need motivation to do it
do it by rote before looking for some kind of divine inspiration to do it, and eventually, like all things that generate dopamine and self-esteem, it will become its own inspiration
the difference between a sad cunt and a sick cunt isnt in these lofty, poetical words like "dedication" or "inspiration" or "grit," nothing to do with "man as marble and sculptor"
it's just putting the fucking reps in because you have nothing to lose by not doing so
